There's just no way to pick one!
Each says a bit about how my heart feels to sit out on this beautiful porch that now belongs to us!
How I feel to step on the little pecans that have fallen out of one of our pecan trees....
What it's like to look out on this street that I love so much already...and know that we belong here...that our home is here...
And what it's like to stand here...on these hardwoods that have seen so many pass through...so many generations of lessons, of hurts, of trials, and such joys...
It's hard to simply pick out one...

I can see why it would be hard to pick out just one. They're all lovely photos. My personal favorite is the one with your feet on the floor, partly because of what you say about the people who passed through the house before.

I like the second photo best and the imagery of stepping on the pecans. Hope you take the time to bake them into a pie. Enjoy home ownership. I bought mine in 2001 near the cusp of my 30th, too. It's still not perfect but making it more of a home each year is worth the effort.
