I'm it...
So, I just realized it's my turn to share with you what lurks in the secret places of my life. (Thanks to my dear mother, Rebekah!) To be honest, I'm not even sure...this should be good...
5 Things in My Fridge
I'm very excited to do this one...seeing as there are actually things IN the fridge! We are the kind of people that eat all that's in the house...and then some...before heading to the grocery store again! So sometimes, it gets embarassing...because truly...there's nothin' in there!
1. Lots and lots of fruit! My cousin is staying with us for a few days and I thought that would be a great snack to have on hand! Strawberries, honeydew, grapes, apples, watermelon...all the things that I adore in the summertime!
2. Bree...a big huge round purchased from Costco. I love cheese of any kind...but bree...oh I love you! I'm trying to have nice snacks on hand always...should someone stop by! The bree is always accompanied by wheat crackers and a bottle of wine!
3. Veggies...green bell peppers, baby carrots, cucumbers, and a really yummy spinach veggie dip to go with...
4. Eggs...although I'm not a big fan of eggs necessarily, they are necessary to make pancakes...which I am a fan of!
5. Random bottles of water....on hand to just grab as we're headed out the door!
5 Things in my Closet
1. Current Oilily clothes...I have a section in my closet for the current seasons wears, so they are handy for grabbing in the mornings!
2. A large moving box full of my off season favorites...it sits on the top shelf and stays there until the seasons change!
3. 3 or 4 mini photo albums in a white wire basket sitting on the top shelf next to said moving box. Our book shelf is overflowing and I'm not sure where else to store them, so I figured this was as good as any other place!
4. A large blue floral hat box. I used to collect hat boxes. But when I got rid of my collection, this on had already become my "Brad" box (full of old letters, photos, memories of our dating days), so of course, I couldn't part with it!
5. Bags...purses...totes...cluches...the only things I have a hard time parting with. They sit in a large Central Market tote...waiting for the day when I need them again!
5 Items in my Car
I have a bad habit of living out of my car...and it's almost never clean (ask my mother...she knows it well!)...BUT I just cleaned it out (bacause of cousin...good impression and what not!) so I'm very happy to tell you what's in my car today (but not all that it housed yesterday!)
1. Two CD cases full of all of my favorites. I have a 7 disc changer in the back and one in the front...so that one I change out often!
2. The little remote control to my car stereo...we bought this car used and it came with the most high tech (and slightly confusing) stereo system I've ever seen! We still haven't purchased a sub-woofer (and I'm still not sure what that exactly is) for the thing. And I don't think I want to...not exactly me, if you know what I mean.
3. A king sized quilt waiting to be taken to the cleaners (and it's actually in the trunk)...but in the meantime, we're using it for picnics!
4. Brad's sachel...instead of bringing it upstairs every night and then down every morning, we just keep it in there during the week so he won't forget anything he needs for work.
5. My car phone charger...you never know when you'll need on my long commute!
5 Things in my Purse
I just got a new purse yesterday, and it's so precious I can hardly stand it! (It's from Bookish Quilts...and my friend Keri made it! It's the Pinafore Tote if you go to her site...and I think you should!)
1. My hot pink cell phone that's outragous, but I love it!
2. My beautiful red floral wallet (again, a Bookish Quilts original!) housing debit card...license...and the necessities!
3. A little floral fabric pouch that holds spare change, my Bigelow lip gloss, a mini tube of mascara, and face powder. Like my mother, I like to be able to fully freshen up wherever I may be!
4. My sunglasses...which must me on me at all times, for I have ridiculously sensitive eyes!
5. A pen...Brad has taught me to never be without!
So there I am! Who hasn't listed their lives? Shelly? Your turn!

i'm a hat box collector too. i purchase one every new year to store that year's mementos. i have a closet full of them and they're scattered all over the house. one day, when i'm gone, britton will get the joy (or the agony) or sorting through all of them.
Always fun to learn more about you!! I have copied and pasted (with my answers) on my blog! :)
Fun glimpse into your life. And hey, you have actual FOOD in your fridge! (Unlike me.) ;)
