* Current read: 'The Professor's House' by Willa Cather (and I just finished a book by her called 'Lucy Gayheart' and it's one of the best books I've ever read!)
* Newest Tune: 'Paper Wings and Halo' by Lori McKenna...and Brad stumbled on this band called Hem...they are amazing!!
* Currently Obsessing Over: Jergens body lotion that slowly takes you skin about three shades darker. This is great for my lily white!

So, I've been busy!
This one..."Dress Pretty"...is made from 1930's reproduction fabric and bubble gum pink embroidery floss. I love this one so much, I almost want to keep it for myself!

Some news...
Brad and I have decided to buy a house! We've been going back and forth on how much of a "fixer upper" do we want to take on! We found a house last weekend...it's so cute! It's 2 bedroom/1 bath...and hardwoods throughout! But, we would need to add another room, redo the siding, add on a laundry room, redo the kitchen and bathroom, and of course...and on a front porch! I'm slightly out of breath just listing it all! So, I think we're going to look for one that's not so much work...
We're so excited! I'm so excited, I can hardly stand it!
I'll keep you posted on the news! We still have 5 months on our apartment lease, so nothing's going to happen immediately. Unless we find the perfect one...and then you never know!

I was all excited to see you on Tuesday for lunch and Brad interrupted my joy by reminding me that you had Friday off now!! Aaaah! One day I will get it straight!

I'd forgotten all Willa Cather. I loved her years ago, but I haven't read nearly all that she has written. You have inspired me. Your creations are darling - simply darling! Precious fabric finds. Inspiration has taken up permanent residency in your house - and I love it. Speaking of house. Lovely plan. It will be so much fun to search and find just the right one!
Looking to buy a house! HOW FUN!! I always liked the looking part especially through old homes. I like seeing the different decorating styles and some I am just shocked they would do certain things to such a cute home. It is an adventure but definitely keep me posted!
I am not sure if I told you my parents moved to AR so only my grandma is still in TX. I don't know when we will be down next. Especially with another baby on the way. Just pray God opens a door soon for us to be a little bit closer. We are still looking!
